My first blog. I'm so excited.lol I want to share the experiences I've had with my kids and the jeep we purchased together. I have 2 boys and 1 girl. In our area there are many places to take your 4x4 and have fun. With the my tight budget and the needs of my kids.I could not afford to get each of them their own quad,dirt bike or whatever. so I proposed a solution for us all and it worked out beautifully in the end.

I told them that we could buy 1 used 4x4 vehicle of their choice,but it would have to be a team effort.
They all agreed and were so excited and happy! We covered our area, searched on ebay and other classifieds until we all found something we loved together. The 1982 Jeep CJ was perfect. It was only $600 and needed alot of work. We all got our hands dirty. The months of rebuilding it and learning about it with my kids are memories I will cherish forever. Now we all jump in on the weekends and go 4x4ing.

I think it would be a Great idea for every parent to build something with their childeren. It teaches them many responsibilities in a fun way.
